2nd Cove Scout Group
As an Cub section team member, your primary role is to support the planning and delivery of engaging and balanced activities for the Cub Pack. You’ll work closely with the Team Leader and a team of assistants, including Section Assistants and Young Leaders, to create a fun and safe environment that caters to the needs and interests of young people. You’ll help ensure that every activity follows The Scout Association’s policies and that each young person has the chance to participate in at least one overnight event per year. Additionally, you’ll encourage badge and award achievements, fostering a sense of accomplishment and growth among the participants.
Your responsibilities also include helping to recruit and train new leaders and assistants, maintaining accurate records, and building strong relationships with parents and carers. You’ll collaborate with other leaders for Group activities and events, attend relevant meetings, and contribute to the overall operation of the Cub Pack. Ultimately, as an Cub section team member, you play a vital role in creating a positive and enriching experience for the young people in your section.
